Transition Family Violence Services
Transition Family Violence Services is the sole provider of comprehensive family violence services in Hampton, Newport News, and Poquoson, and a co-provider of services for York County. They are located at 240 Chapel St., P.O. Box 561, Hampton, VA 23669, Phone: 757-722-2261, and a 24 hour domestic violence HOTLINE at 757-723-7774.
Items Needed: hand sanitizer, toothbrushes and toothpaste, baby wipes, diapers (all sizes), bath soap, and financial support (checks may be mailed to the address above).
Farm Fresh ABC Program
This program offers schools and places of worship the opportunity to earn free audio-visual equipment, books, computers and printers, software, sports equipment, and more. Many of you have asked if our church will be taking part in this program. At the November 8 meeting, Admin Council voted to do so. When you shop, please save the part of the receipt that says Farm Fresh ABCs 2007-08 and place them in the bag on the bulletin board across from the Sunday School office.
Van Driver Needed for Seton Manor
A van driver is needed to pick up our Seton Manor members every Wednesday at 4:45 p.m. and take them to church for Wednesday night supper. After supper (around 5:45-6:00 p.m.), you will need to take them back to Seton Manor. If interested, please contact the church office.
